What to say?
What to paint?
What to write?
I too have drawers full of painting stuff, and I have created one or two passable paintings, but when I consider ‘Christina’s World’ by Andrew Wyeth, for example, I wonder, and I doubt that I could ever create something as moving as that, but I want to!
So should I try again?
The same question applies to writing. When I read (for the twentieth time) that piece by T. E. Lawrence that I posted a couple of weeks ago, I doubt that I could ever reach that level of truth and power of expression.
So what to do?
Give up and just read words written by other people? and look at pictures drawn and painted by others?
